Is the instrument licensed by Health Canada?
Yes! We have obtained a device licence for our instruments by Health Canada. Our products are now licensed by Health Canada.
Does the insurance company reimburse for the use of this instrument?
Yes because you are still adjusting the patient. Therefore, you would use the same CPT codes that you would for any adjustment. The typical codes are 98940, 98941, 98942, 98943, 97140.
What about adjusting the extremities or the pelvis?
Anything you adjust manually (by hand) you can adjust with the Spine-Align Instruments. Consider that the instrument is AN EXTENSION OF YOUR HANDS.
How easy is it to educate your patient?
You can use a very graphic software program from Visual Odyssey (the NEUROPATHOLATOR) to educate your patients everyday immediately following their adjustment, validating what you just did, and statistically increasing your np referrals from them.
How reliable is the equipment?
There are instrument in the field that have been there for 11 years that have not had any problems. The reliability and durability are great. There is a one year manufactures warranty on all components that Sigma makes. Sigma takes pride in answering all questions regarding any aspects and moves quickly to resolve any issue that may arise.
What is the difference between the Spine-Align and the PULSTAR?
The Pulstar is not a percussive instrument. IT IS VIBRATORY. It does not measure frequency. Several significant differences make the Spine-Align the tool of excellence for computer-assisted chiropractic.
